Features

Our nickel alloy products (Inconel/Monel/Hastelloy series) stand out in the market due to their outstanding comprehensive performance, with the following core features:

Exceptional Corrosion Resistance

Different alloy grades are designed to resist specific corrosion types. For example, Hastelloy C22 and Hastelloy C276 exhibit superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in harsh media such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and chloride solutions. Monel 400 and Monel K500 are highly resistant to seawater corrosion, making them perfect for marine engineering components like propeller shafts and seawater pipelines. Inconel 825 combines resistance to both acid and alkaline environments, suitable for chemical processing equipment.

High-Temperature Stability

Most Inconel grades excel in high-temperature applications. Inconel 601 can maintain stable mechanical properties at temperatures up to 1093°C, making it ideal for furnace components and heat exchangers. Inconel 718 retains high strength even at 650°C, which is why it is widely used in aerospace engine parts and gas turbine components. Inconel X-750 offers excellent creep resistance at elevated temperatures, ensuring long-term reliability in high-temperature stress environments.

High Mechanical Strength

The nickel alloy series has impressive tensile and yield strengths. Inconel 718 and Monel K500 have tensile strengths of over 1000 MPa, enabling them to bear heavy loads in structural parts such as high-pressure pipelines and aircraft fasteners. Even in low-temperature environments, these alloys do not experience significant brittleness, maintaining consistent strength and toughness, which is crucial for cryogenic engineering applications.

Good Processability

Despite their high strength, our nickel alloy round bars, tubes, and pipes have good machinability. They can be processed through cutting, welding, forging, and bending to form complex-shaped components, meeting the customized needs of different industries. The uniform grain structure of the alloys also ensures stable processing quality, reducing the risk of defects during manufacturing.

Applications

Based on their unique performance advantages, our nickel alloy products are widely used in various high-demand industries, with specific application scenarios as follows:

Aerospace Industry

Inconel 718 and Inconel X-750 are key materials in this field. They are used to manufacture aircraft engine turbine disks, blades, and fasteners, as their high-temperature resistance and high strength can withstand the extreme conditions of engine operation (high temperature, high pressure, and high-speed rotation). Inconel 625 is also used in aircraft fuel system components due to its excellent corrosion resistance to aviation fuels.

Petrochemical Industry

Hastelloy C22, Hastelloy C276, and Inconel 825 are widely applied in petrochemical equipment. They are used to make reactors, heat exchangers, and pipelines that handle corrosive media such as crude oil, natural gas, and chemical solvents. These alloys can resist corrosion from sulfides, acids, and other impurities in the media, extending the service life of equipment and reducing maintenance costs. Monel 400 is used in oil well casings and offshore oil platform pipelines due to its seawater corrosion resistance.

Marine Engineering

Monel 400, Monel K500, and Inconel 600 are suitable for marine environments. They are used to manufacture ship propellers, seawater cooling systems, and offshore platform structural parts. These alloys can resist the corrosion of seawater, marine organisms, and salt spray, ensuring the safety and durability of marine equipment. For example, Monel K500 propeller shafts have a longer service life than traditional steel shafts in seawater.

Power Generation Industry

Inconel 601 and Inconel 825 are used in thermal power plants and nuclear power plants. Inconel 601 is used in boiler superheater tubes and furnace liners due to its high-temperature resistance, while Inconel 825 is used in nuclear power plant heat exchangers and coolant pipelines due to its corrosion resistance to radioactive coolants. These alloys ensure the stable operation of power generation equipment and improve energy efficiency.

FAQ

1. What factors affect the price per kg of nickel alloy products?

The price per kg of our nickel alloy products is influenced by multiple factors, including:

Alloy grade: High-performance grades such as Inconel 718 and Hastelloy C276 are more expensive due to the high content of precious metals (e.g., molybdenum, niobium) in their composition.

Product form: The manufacturing cost of tubes/pipes is generally higher than that of round bars/rods, so their unit price is usually 10%-20% higher.

Order quantity: Bulk orders (over 1000kg) can enjoy a 5%-10% discount, while small-batch customized orders may have a higher unit price due to additional processing costs.

Market fluctuations: The price of raw materials (nickel, chromium, molybdenum) in the international market changes monthly, which directly affects the final product price. For the latest quotation, please contact our sales team.

2. Can nickel alloy products be customized according to specific requirements?

Yes, we provide comprehensive customization services. Customers can customize the following aspects:

Dimensions: For example, round bars with a diameter of more than 400mm, or tubes/pipes with a special outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID).

Mechanical properties: We can adjust the heat treatment process to meet specific tensile strength, yield strength, or elongation requirements (e.g., increasing the tensile strength of Inconel 625 to over 900 MPa).

Surface treatment: Options include polished surfaces (for aesthetic and corrosion resistance enhancement) and pickled surfaces (for removing oxide scales and improving weldability).

Certifications: We can provide materials with international certifications such as ASTM, ASME, and DIN to meet the quality standards of different countries/regions.

3. How to select the appropriate nickel alloy grade for my application?

To select the right alloy grade, you need to consider the following key application conditions:

Operating temperature: For high-temperature environments (above 800°C), choose Inconel 601 or Inconel 718; for low-temperature environments (below -50°C), Monel 400 is a better choice.

Corrosive medium: If the application involves strong acids (e.g., sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid), select Hastelloy C22 or Hastelloy C276; for seawater or salt spray environments, Monel 400 or Monel K500 is suitable.

Mechanical load: For high-load structural parts (e.g., aircraft fasteners), Inconel 718 or Monel K500 with high tensile strength is preferred; for general load-bearing scenarios, Inconel 600 or Monel 400 can meet the requirements.

If you are unsure about the selection, our technical team can provide free consulting services based on your specific application scenarios.

4. What is the delivery time for nickel alloy products?

The delivery time depends on the product type and order quantity:

Standard products (round bars/rods with Φ6mm-300mm, tubes/pipes with Φ10mm-200mm OD): In stock, delivery within 3-5 working days after payment.

Customized products: The delivery time is 2-4 weeks, depending on the complexity of customization (e.g., special dimensions or heat treatment processes may take an additional 1-2 weeks).

Overseas orders: The total delivery time includes 1-2 weeks of production time and 2-4 weeks of international shipping time (by sea or air). We cooperate with well-known logistics companies (e.g., DHL, Maersk) to ensure on-time delivery.

5. What after-sales services are provided?

We are committed to providing high-quality after-sales services to ensure customer satisfaction:

Quality guarantee: All products come with a 12-month quality guarantee. If there are quality problems (e.g., unqualified chemical composition, cracks) within the guarantee period, we will provide free replacement or refund.

Technical support: Our technical team provides lifelong consulting services, including product installation guidance, welding parameter recommendations, and maintenance advice.
